Our mildew-resistant seeds are particularly good for cropping late in the season.
  • A very productive early maturing F1 hybrid producing cylindrical, very straight fruits, slightly ribby, dark and glossy with a short neck and around 34 - 40cm long with good shelf life. Vigorous growth habit and high resistance to powdery mildew. This is a glasshouse variety and needs good warmth to get the best results.

  • The perfect Cucumber variety, ideal for school lunch boxes as it produces bite-sized fruits around 10-15 cm in length; these are a great favourite with children.

    Fruits are crisp and have a sweet juicy flavour.

    Primarily for growing under protection this variety may also fare well in a sheltered spot outside.

    Being an all-female variety, it is best to remove the male flowers (identified by not having a tiny fruit behind the flower). If male flowers are left on these may pollinate the flowers, causing the fruits to become bitter to taste.

    La Diva produces a profusion of slender glossy green fruits approximately 15 cm in length. Not only are the fruits smooth (as opposed to prickly like so many other ridge varieties) they are also seedless.

    This truly is a wonderful variety and sure to become a firm favourite with gardeners who want to grow 'proper' Cucumbers but don't have the benefit of protected growing space.
