Heavy produce big, indeterminate plants that yield above average lots of medium, golf-ball sized, slightly oval to round, red heirloom tomatoes. Very tasty, full-bodied with old-time tomatoey flavours. This tomato variety has a good reputation for being a favourite in the tomato garden. I've grown Alicante tomato for many years because of its productivity and taste. A good preserving tomato.
