The dense tight growth lends this variety to easy blanching, with the centers often naturally white. Known for its sweetness. Grown on our farm here in Pukekohe, it is sweetly mild for a Chicory and very pretty with reasonable resistance to bolting. Untreated seed. Hand Harvest seeds.
